'Finding green in the city' was a collaborative project between Tower Hamlets Extended Services team, Tower Hamlets E Learning team, school staff and most importantly Key Stage 1 pupils.
It began with school staff attending training at the City Learning Centre, based at the Wessex Centre in Bethnal Green, where they learnt how to work with a range of photography software – 2simple, Photo Simple Software and Microsoft Photo Story 3. The training was delivered by Hilary Norton from E Learning.
Staff returned to school and introduced pupils to photography and software editing. Pupils then took cameras out on to the streets of Tower Hamlets to explore and capture the colour green. Using digital cameras they have created their own images and films.
