The Children Arts Award is about seeing, trying, and doing new things in whatever part of the arts world that inspires them. They have the opportunity to attend events, research their heroes, and share their passions with others.
To achieve the Children Arts Award, children must take part in an arts activity (within any art form), observe an artistic event, write and research an artist of their choice and lead on an arts activity.
The Children’s Arts Award has been designed to support young people that want to deepen their engagement with the arts, as well as build on their creative and leadership skills. It allows the young people to get some accreditation for extra activities which take place within their schools as well as develop their confidence and self esteem.
