freestyle kicked off this January with a dedicated website for young people (www.findyourtalentpush.co.uk) and projects in docu-film making, radio production and performance poetry as well as take their Arts Awards - plus - for 16 to 19 year olds – a chance to sign up for the Gold Arts Award Champions Group - who will mentor the freestyle groups.
freestyle is part of the FYT-PUSH Youth Voice and Influence Programme (and the Advocacy/Legacy Strategy) to develop young people as cultural leaders and champions and to work creatively with them to capture the views of other young people so that this can genuinely influence future planning about cultural provision.
The work will be overseen by Audiences South, youth arts/cultural specialist, Ruth Jones, and Media and Film Company, Cass Productions
